Luminas Group is supported by an Advisory Board of experienced senior professionals who bring independent expertise and perspective to the business.

Our advisers have built their careers within leading organisations and bring specialist knowledge across areas including finance, commercial strategy, governance, risk, technology, professional services and organisational transformation.

Their role is to provide independent insight, challenge our thinking and advise the leadership team as Luminas develops, helping us make better strategic decisions, maintain high professional standards and ensure that the AI solutions and services we deliver remain practical, responsible and commercially focused.

The Advisory Board does not manage the day-to-day operations of Luminas Group. Its purpose is to bring additional experience, specialist knowledge and independent perspective to the business as we grow.

Chris Williams

Senior Adviser, Financial & Commercial Strategy

Chris brings extensive experience in finance, risk and commercial operations gained through senior roles with leading organisations including KPMG, NatWest, Credit Suisse and Standard Chartered.

His expertise spans finance, financial controls, operational risk, supply chain and business resilience, with particular experience in helping organisations navigate complex challenges, strengthen their operations and make well-informed commercial decisions.

Now running his own accounting and risk consultancy, Chris brings an independent and highly practical perspective to Luminas Group. As Senior Financial & Commercial Strategy Adviser, he provides strategic guidance as we grow, helping ensure that our use of AI remains grounded in sound commercial thinking, effective risk management and measurable business value.

Rafael Bloom

Senior Adviser, AI Strategy, Governance, Data Management & Transformation

Rafael is an experienced technology and transformation strategist specialising in the opportunities and challenges created by AI, data and automation.

His career began in financial markets with Bloomberg, where he led data analytics and global data functions before developing deep expertise in information governance, regulatory data, technology transformation and organisational change.

He has advised organisations across financial services, legal, healthcare, public sector and not-for-profit environments, helping leadership teams develop data strategies, navigate emerging technologies and deliver complex transformation programmes.

Rafael brings particular expertise in identifying the risks and opportunities created by AI and data, developing effective governance frameworks and helping organisations translate technology strategy into practical organisational change.
