What we collect
When you complete the qualification questions we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and the information you give us about your business: company name, sector, staff numbers, the software you use, the processes you described, your estimate of hourly cost, and anything you tell us in the "what frustrates you most" answer.
From those answers we also work out two things ourselves: a conservative, hours-only estimate of the cost savings they point to (it does not attempt to estimate revenue opportunity, which we work out by hand once a human looks at your answers), and a spam-likelihood score. Both are figures we derive, not something you type in directly, and both are stored alongside your answers to help us triage submissions.
When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address and message.
For qualification submissions we also record the country the request came from and your browser's user agent string, to help us identify automated abuse.
Saving your progress
While you're filling in the qualification questions, your answers so far are saved in your browser's local storage — a small amount of space the browser gives each site on your device, separate from cookies. This is so that if you close the tab or lose your connection partway through, you don't lose what you've already typed. It stays on your device only: we do not see any of it until you submit the form. It's cleared automatically as soon as you submit successfully, or after 7 days if you never come back to finish it, whichever happens first.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
To assess whether an assessment would be worth your money, to contact you about it, and to prevent spam. We do not use it for anything else and we do not sell it. Our lawful basis for this, under UK GDPR, is legitimate interests: responding to enquiries and working out honestly whether it's worth taking your money is a core, necessary part of running Luminas Group, and we keep what we collect narrowly scoped to that purpose.
Who we are
Luminas Group is the controller for the personal data described on this page — the business that decides what is collected and why. If you have any question about that, email hello@luminasgroup.com.
How long we keep it
Qualification submissions are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Contact enquiries live in our email and are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Who else sees it
Our website and database are hosted by Cloudflare. Email is sent through Resend. Both process data on our behalf under contract and neither uses it for their own purposes. Both are headquartered in the United States, so your data may be processed outside the UK; both have safeguards in place for that under UK GDPR.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it. Where we ever rely on your permission rather than legitimate interests, you can withdraw that permission at any time. Email hello@luminasgroup.com and we will respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
